Video Editing with the Red

The addition of the Red Camera now allows me to offer the ultimatte in quality at a fraction of the normal costs for this level of film & program making. I'm able to edit the footage and colour correct from the desktop. I'm able to mix audio to stereo or surround 5.1 from the desktop. An offline edit is worked on using a 1k proxy of the from the 4K data. The finished edit is then conformed for the online and output to any chosen video standard or film out.
External colourists and wordclass audio production studios can be used for final colour and final mix when budget allows. The Redcode RAW data integrates seemlessly with Final Cut Pro, putting the reality of Broadcast High Definition, 2K and 4K production into the hands of desktop video editors like myself. The smart workflow allows a myriad of video output options from standard definition, high definition, 2K, and 4k in PAL, NTSC, Film 24p and more, all at the very highest quality.

The Red workflow is ideal for filmakers, broadcast program makers with the output standard being a simple menu option choice. Your 4K data providing the beautiful quality that previously was only possible with expensive film and high cost digital movie cameras.
